Ureshino Onsen is famous for “onsen yudofu,” a delicious dish made of the finest domestically produced tofu cooked in fresh hot spring water. It is available every day at the breakfast buffet. |

Hyotan (ashiyu cafe)
Enjoy a luxurious meal while resting your feet in a warm ashiyu (foot bath). Our tonkotsu (pork broth) ramen and "onsen ramen" dishes are very popular, and we also offer choice sake from all over the country. The ashiyu bath is especially recommended for busy people without the time for a full onsen experience and women who are prone to feeling cold.  Sumeiso is constructed in the traditional "sukiya" style, and reminds visitors of times gone by. Their Majesties the Emperor and Empress of Japan have stayed in the "Senshin no Ma" and "Ariake no Ma" rooms, which offer a calm atmosphere perfect for relaxation. In the river-facing rooms, guests can view the natural beauty of the clean and pure Ureshino River just by opening the shoji (paper sliding door). |

 Kachoen evokes the appearance of the Nagasaki Kaido road during the Edo period, allowing guests to immerse themselves in the romance of the olden days. Rooms with private rotenburo (open air baths) are available. All the furniture and items in the rooms have been chosen with an eye to creating an Edo period flavor.
